Job Description


The iScala ERP Techno-Functional Architect will be part of the Bosch Home Comfort IT organization, responsible fordelivering standardized, scalable, and  business-aligned iScala ERP solutions across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Finance, and Supply Chain domains.

This role spans the end-to-end product lifecycle, including strategy, architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and continuous optimization of iScala ERP solutions.

The candidate will act as a functional and technical leader, driving solution architecture, product roadmap, and delivery governance, ensuring alignment with Bosch standards and global templates. Additionally, the role supports business–IT alignment, process standardization, and ERP modernization initiatives,
including integration with enterprise platforms.

Role & Responsibilities


Strategy & Conceptualization

  • Align iScala ERP solutions across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (RTR) with overall business and IT strategy
  • Collaborate with Business Process Owners (Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain) to understand business needs and translate them into scalable system solutions
  • Identify opportunities for the process optimization, automation, and standardization across global operations
  • Support demand management, prioritization, and roadmap planning for ERP initiatives
  • Contribute to ERP transformation programs, including multi-country rollouts and coexistence strategies 

Design & Planning

  • Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across O2C, P2P, and RTR processes
  • Conduct Fit-Gap analysis to evaluate business requirements against iScala capabilities and recommend optimal solutions
  • Define end-to-end solution architecture aligned with global templates, enterprise standards, and regional compliance requirements
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) across iScala modules including Order Management, Billing, AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Inventory
  • Design and ensure integration with upstream and downstream systems (CRM, SAP, Oracle, banking systems, and third-party platforms)
  • Review functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams to deliver custom developments, reports, and interfaces
  • Support project planning, scoping, and vendor coordination activities 

Build, Deploy Transition

  • Support and execute full lifecycle delivery (Design → Build → Test → Deploy → Operate) for iScala implementations
  • Configure and validate system functionality across O2C, P2P, and RTR modules
  • Collaborate with development teams on customizations, integrations, and enhancements
  • Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect management
  • Oversee data migration activities, including master data and transactional data (customers, vendors, AR/AP balances, GL data)
  • Support cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-go-live stabilization activities
  • Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer to business and support teams 

Run & Operate

  • Support production operations by ensuring system stability and reliability
  • Collaborate with operations and support teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth business continuity
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise support models, SLAs, and operational standards 

Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, process efficiency, and user experience
  • Promote standardization and automation across financial and supply chain processes
  • Ensure adherence to regional regulatory, tax, and statutory compliance requirements
  • Maintain data quality and governance across master and transactional data

Phase-Out & Decommissioning

  • Support ERP transformation and legacy system decommissioning strategies
  • Plan and execute data migration, archival, and retention for finance and supply chain data

  • Conduct post-implementation and post-decommissioning reviews to capture lessons learned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline 
  • MBA or a relevant Master’s degree preferred 
  • Minimum 10+ years of ERP experience, with strong focus on iScala / Epicor ERP
  • 2–3 full lifecycle iScala implementations 
  • Experience in global template design and multi-country deployments preferred
